What you can expect

Tour and taste the Atherton Tablelands on this full day food and wine tour with lunch and hotel transfers from Port Douglas. 

Relax and soak in the beautiful views while you are taken on a fascinating journey through Far North Queensland with seven delicious stops throughout the day. Expect to sample wine, cheese, coffee, chocolate, liqueurs, spirits, tropical fruit, vegetable and more on this foodie day tour. The first stop is the Rainforest Nature Park to enjoy a breakfast of fresh and local tropical fruit from the balcony of the Tree House restaurant. Continue up the range to a boutique tropical winery to sample a diverse range of wines that will make the sweet wine lovers happy. Get a taste of seasonal fruit, nuts, dried fruits, jams and sauces before stopping into the Australian Platypus Park to spot the creatures in the pond while devouring handcrafted smoked meats and unique flavours including Crocodile, Red Claw Yabby and Kangaroo with fresh local salads and Dragon Fruit Cider for lunch. The afternoon delights continue with a visit to a dairy farm to sample cheese, chocolate and award winning liqueurs and spirits from North Queensland's only distillery. Finish up a spectacular day touring the Atherton Tablelands with a visit to a secret site looking for shy Platypus whilst sampling Queensland beer and wine. You'll return back to Port Douglas at 6pm after a one of a kind culinary adventure.
