Enjoy an aquatic themed day out with single entry tickets to SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium. You're in for a great family outing at Sydney Aquarium; the aquarium features an abundance of unique marine animals showcased in multiple stunning exhibits helping make SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium one of the best attractions in Sydney. Witness sharks, stingrays, dugongs, even Australia's own duck-billed platypus for a great day out.
Featuring a glass walk-through tunnel, that lets you feel like you're in the exhibit with the animals, and the brand new, world-first penguin exhibit. The Penguin Expedition is the newest addition to the aquarium and features a continuous chain of boats floating through the King and Gentoo Penguin colony enclosures. Allowing guests to get up close and personal in groups of eight, the exhibit is only all day every day and is included in the admission price.
With not only exhibits but also a variety of daily shows, there is so much to do at Sydney SEA LIFE Aquarium. Lovers of all things aquatic will be well in their element with a visit to this popular Darling Harbour attraction no matter their age. - South Coast Shipwreck area is where you discover a vast array of animals native to the Southern Oceans. Some of the animals you will see include Little Penguins, Port Jackson Sharks and Moon Jellies
- Jurassic Seas allows you to explore the depths of the ocean and see where life began and meet weird and wonderful living fossils. Some of the animals you will see include Nautilus, Lungfish and Peacock Mantis Shrimp
- Sydney Harbour area zone provides a snapshot of what lies beneath one of the most iconic harbours in the world. Some of the animals you will see include Silver Sweep, Mado and Cuttlefish
- Dugong Island home to a pair of dugongs and other amazing animals including White Spotted Eagle Rays, various shark species and dozens of species of fish
- Shark Valley walk over some of the world's biggest aquarium sharks then journey deep under the sea and explore the depths of Shark Valley. Some of the animals you will see include Grey Nurse Shark, Sicklefin lemon Shark and the huge Queensland Groper
- Discovery Rockpool is where you can see and touch stars, shark eggs, shells and coral
- Clownfish Garden is a themed zone provides the perfect home for stunning tropical fish including Clown Anemonefish, Regal Tangs, cardinalfish, wrasses and more
- Bay of Rays you will see the rays swimming up against the glass or just enjoying a rest on the sandy bottom. Some of the animals you will see include Maskray, Unicornfish and Harlequin Tuskfish
- Art Aquarium is an interactive experience that educates about the importance of sustainable seas
- Great Barrier Reef area- The Great Barrier Reef oceanarium is the largest in the world. Kick back and relax as you watch hundreds of reef species cruise before your eyes. Some of the animals you will see include Grey Reef shark, Smalltooth sawfish & Giant trevally
- Penguin Expedition - Inspired by Macquarie Island, an Australian owned island in the Southwest Pacific Ocean, Penguin Expedition is a world first exhibit which takes guests on an immersive journey through a rugged, sub-Antarctic environment at a cool but comfortable six degrees Celsius, surrounded by a colony of Gentoo Penguins
- Day & Night on the Reef - Jellies, Bioluminescence, Predetors, Spawning, Turtle Beach... this is your getaway to experience the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef on a journey thorugh night and day
- SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is open daily. Monday to Thursday from 10am to 4pm. Last entries are at 3pm

- Once inside the attraction you may stay as long as you wish
- To make the most of your visit, we recommend allowing at least 90 minutes to walk through the attraction

- SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is located on the city side of Darling Harbour, right in the heart of Sydney
- All children under the age of 16yrs must be accompanied by an adult (18yrs or over)

The SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is amazing with sea animals displays. Location is very accessible and convenient.
The SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium is amazing! It offers engaging and educational experiences that my daughter absolutely loves, especially with all the incredible displays of sea creatures. The highlight for us is the stunning stingrays and the fascinating dugong. Additionally, the location is very accessible and convenient, making it a perfect destination for a day out.

Sydney SEA LIFE is our favourite aquarium to visit in Australia
I was very impressed by the immersive and vibrant displays of marine life and the staff were very informative. We loved the dugong talk and the penguin boat ride in particular. The staff was really great at telling the story of Pig the dugong and how he got rescued. Would definitely recommend a visit to anyone visiting Sydney.

I recommend going, you will have a great day out!!
Our experience was amazing, my kids enjoyed seeing the sharks, and fish and we all loved the penguin exhibit! The joy and excitement on my kid’s faces was priceless and the memories will be remembered, oh the jellyfish were also very cool! We totally recommend going there, you won’t regret it!
